About Pleasant Places Training Academy
This is a parent mediated intervention program simply put as simplified ABA for parents. This includes coaching , training and supervision using principles of Applied Behaviour Analysis, Positive Behaviour Support, Active Support and the SPELL Framework.
This training covers individualized skills building identified through assessment in areas covering academics , motor Skills , language and communication as well as adaptive and self help skills among others as well a managing challenging behaviours.
The IMPACT program is designed to equip, guide and support parents and caregivers to provide parent intervention for their child(ren) at home under the expert supervison of trained and qualified professional.

Aims and Objectives of the IMPACT Program
This program is highly recommended and beneficial for parents who are unable to access therapy services due to distance , lack of personnel, child’s illness , exclusion from schools among other who want their children to benefit from evidence based ABA and other holistic strategies ; parents who prefer to home school or support and run therapy programs by themselves.

Cost: Initial payment which covers parents consultation, screening and profiling, assessment £180.
Subsequent months payment covers program review meeting (once or twice a month or as needed), emergency contact/support, program planning and reccomendations, continued training and coaching, data analysis, peer support as well as referrals and linkages. £200.
A minimum of 3- 6 months contract is required.
