Qualified Behavior Analyst (QBA) Requirements
This is a masters level program for senior tier interventionists who provide ABA program oversight, supervision, assessment, analysis of data, goal development and other aspects of treatment and ethical integrity.
The QBA Coursework prepares you to become a top level professional after completing 270 Coursework hours. The course is split into Four semesters which is covered over a period of 12 months. Fees are paid per semester. You will be expected to complete supervised work hours before writing the board exams.
The 270hrs coursework spans a duration of 12 months (4 semesters).
New cohorts begin in October.Classes hold on weekends via a dedicated Virtual Classroom and a learning platform which includes lecture modules, case studies , videos , journal articles and competency assessments.
Requirements:
Must be at least 18 years old.
Possess a minimum of a master’s degree from an accredited university.
Successful completion of the course and the supervised fieldwork of 1500 hours qaulifies a candicate to take the QABA board exam towards becoming a certified qualified behaviour analyst by the QABA Board and which also qualifies a placement on the QABA public registry. Certification is renewed every 2 years.
Program duration is 12 months (4 semesters).
